During meditation sessions, we couldn’t stay focused on one thing, or even to ignore the pain in the legs (which always happens if you stay in one position for some time). But Ajahn Keng (Teacher Keng) and Phra Ong (Monk Ong) showed us that it was possible. I peeped at Ajahn Keng during one of the meditation sessions. He had not flinched a single moment in the 20 minutes we were doing sitting meditation.

The monks explained everything I needed to know about the Buddha’s teachings; they were friendly and funny people. Just like you and me, except that they have accomplished so much more.
